Mouse Prevention & Control
Inspection & Survey Of Your Property
Our mouse pest control specialist will ask you questions about the presence of mice in your property and inspect the property further.
This will help them find out where the mice are located and how they’re getting in. They will then provide you with a written report and discuss a service plan they would recommend, in detail, with you. They will also advise on how to prevent mice from entering your property in the future.
When carrying out a mouse pest control inspection and survey, special care is always taken to make sure that your property is not damaged.
Treatment & Follow-Up Visits
Following your inspection, the technician will carry out the treatment of the areas of your property where there is evidence of mice.
Our trained team will set and bait traps, as well as decontaminate your property, while you wait.
All our treatments are environmentally friendly, non-invasive and safe. Our treatments only target those ares identified during the survey.
Once the treatment has been completed, we will provide you with a detailed report of the work carried out. Our pest controller will then arrange a convenient time to carry out a follow-up visit.
For mice, we generally need to carry out a follow-up visit. This visit usually takes place 7-10 days after the initial baiting program has been established.
The first visit will give us an indication of just how bad the infestation was and if there is any sign that mice are still present in the property.
Our pest controller will also re-bait as needed and arrange an additional follow-up visit with you. This second follow up is to ensure that the property is all clear and advice on how to prevent mice from nesting in your property, in the future, will be provided to you.
Mouse Proofing & Prevention
Mice are able to easlily find their way into properties through:
- Gaps around pipes
- Air bricks
- Gaps underneath eaves
- Gaps around window and door frames.
Proofing is a significant element to mouse pest control and an effective way to prevent mice from entering the property in the future.
We will locate their preferred entry point and other potential ways of gaining access to your property and seal these off.
Typically this is done using steel, mesh and other strong materials, making your property 100% mouse-proof.
We have full liability insurance which offers peace of mind for our staff, customers and the general public. We pride ourselves in providing the highest level of customer service possible and aim to leave every client feeling happy with the service provided.
Mouse Pest Control FAQ
How long does it take to get rid of mice?
Once traps have been set and baited it can take 3 – 10 days before you notice results. However this is dependant on if and how well your property is mouse proofed, to prevent mice from entering in the future.
What is effective pest control for mice?
Rodent baits, while effective, should be used only to supplement professional pest control services. If you are having to set traps often, it is likely that you will need professional services to effectively eradicate the problem and proof your property to prevent mice returning in the future.
Should I call pest control if I see a mouse?
If you spot one mouse, you can be sure there are more and their numbers will increase quickly. Mice can cause a lot of damage and pose a significant health risk. If you see a mouse you should call a pest controller as soon as possible.
Can mice return after pest control services?
Yes, mice do return to properties after extermination. Unless they find a better alternative, your property would have become a familiar source of shelter and food for them. This is why mouse proofing your property properly is important as it prevents them from returning.
